What is success?
Before we talk about the success stories in China and South Korea, we should first get agreed what success is, which is somewhat more important than the stories themselves.
For me, success is not a story to tell, but an action to perform; success is not the beautiful language that you speak, but the important mission that you accomplish; success is not the slogan that you shout, but the actual deed that you realize, even sometime without being known by the others!
Success is not the achievement that you claim for yourself, but the acknowledgement that you receive from the others; success is not how much you gain from the community, but how much you contribute to the society; success is not the fact that you are a member of a successful team, but the devotion and sacrifice that you make for the party, even sometime without being known by the others!
Success is not the wealth that you own, but the value you create; success is not the money that you earn, but the spiritual fortune that you deserve; success is not the social status where you stand, but the respect that the others show on you, even sometimes without being known by yourself!
Success is not the number of the people that you manage, but the number of the people that follow you, for how long; success is not the improvement from 2010 to 2011, but the conversion from 0 to 1, success is not the congratulation that you receive when you beat your quota, but the consolation that alleviate your grief when you are hurt.
Finally, success is not a story to tell, but an action to perform. Having a common and correct definition of success is more important than telling the so-called success stories. Building a united team, creating a diligent, hardworking, self-sacrificing corporate culture, and maintaining the motivation of each member of the team, are more valuable than any sharing of success story. Word hard yourself as a team leader, and make others voluntarily work as hard as you do, that’s the principle to success. So, success does not belong to any individual, but to the whole team, to the whole community of people here.
With this definition of success, there is nothing left to share my success. Thank you!
